Animal Memorial

This program was established in November 2000 in memory of Hammer, APD mounted patrol horse. The Animal Memorial Program provides K-9 and mounted patrol horses with a proper burial service (similar to our human officers) with full honors.

The service may include: inscribed gray granite marker (donated by Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Homes), memorial register (donated by Cook-Walden Funeral Home), U. S. or Texas flag with memorial case (donated by Michelle Kronberg, Austin Flag and Flagpole), ‘TAPS’ on CD and floral spray (provided by the 100 Club of Central Texas).
